Funky Modern Interior Design

The owner of this two-bedroom flat was inspired by its proximity to the Tate Modern Gallery with his interior design brief for a colourful, funky London pied-a-terre with a retro 1960s vibe.

The starting point was a graphic rug in tones of grey, pink and orange, these colours became the inspiration of the orange-papered feature wall in the dining area, and orange-wallpapered splashbacks in the kitchen.

Wallpaper played a big role in the bathrooms, and vintage 1960s paper was used to wallpaper existing non-descript wardrobes. Bold bedlinen was chosen to add a lively touch to the bedrooms, and feature walls in strong colours of blue and green were the inspiration for the schemes in these rooms.

We delivered a mini-classic in a modern interior design with retro flavours throughout.
