Sound Room Design
The sound room would exist in the larger stores only and represents additional floorspace to the 800 square foot concept drawings.
The enclosed demonstration area takes inspiration from the traditional Japanese tea room, lending weight and meaning to the listening experience.
The room is ideally sized to demonstrate two systems if required, one centred on the north-west wall and one centred on the south-west wall (not shown in these drawings). The simple seating reflects this flexibility.
Wall hangings and art work further aid the acoustics while augmenting the simple beauty of the space. The wall hanging illustrated is based on the robes of ancient priests.
