Traditional Interior Design - As featured in Period House Magazine in August 2010
In the living room the Neutral tones on upholstery and curtains provide a foil for the rich colours of the paintings, figurines and antique Persian rugs. In the dining room the striking cream, aubergine and celadon scheme was inspired by the owner's collection of Chelsea ware. Adrienne designed the bespoke rug and special built-in display units.
The kitchen's bespoke Gustavian furniture and hand-painted Delft tiles combined with fresh tones of blue and white on the Smallbone units create a welcoming environment.
The subtle theme of the master bedroom was influenced by the Chinese porcelain lamps and some Oriental prints.
In the guest bedroom a charming blue and cream scheme has been used. Wallpaper and embroidered bed linen, combined with the owners' antique furniture, create an inviting room.
A runner brings a simple touch to the ornate hallway displaying the owners' collection of French artwork.
This stunning traditional interior design scheme was chosen by Period House to feature in a lead article in 2010.
